Studio K Client, Spirit Movie Productions, Partners with Valencia Motion Pictures for New Feature Film: Chasing Lacey

Orlando, FL June 25, 2018 – This summer, Orlando production company, Spirit Movie Productions ( has partnered with Valencia Motion Pictures to film Chasing Lacey, a feature film based on substance abuse and its devastating effects. Chasing Lacey will be released in Fall/Winter of 2018 and is shooting in the Central Florida community.

This innovative venture utilized Valencia’s production studios, as well as Valencia’s talented film students, to supplement the experienced Spirit Movie Productions crew. The film is being produced by Central Florida-based Executive Producer Peter Rosenfield, and Producers Phil Burton, and Producer /Writer, Michelle Brown, along with Valencia Motion Pictures, Eric Fleming (Executive Producer) and Will (Moe) Fowler serving as Supervising Producer. The film is also shooting within Central Florida, bringing opportunity and added exposure to the area as a new Orlando film project.

Spirit Movie Productions has assembled a cast from Los Angeles, CA including: Naomi Grossman of American Horror Story, Ana Alexander of Bones/Days of Our Lives/ Femme Fatale, and William Mark McCullough of American Made. In addition to the LA cast, Spirit Movie Productions also accumulated a cast of local talent, including Demi Castro and Taylor Roufierre of Bloodline, Chelsea Talmadge and Maria Barnes-Greeleaf of Stranger Things, as well as young Orlando talent, Megan Brown of Dead Silent and Zoe Rosenfield of On Your Street.

Chasing Lacey is a fictional film based on opioid use and substance abuse. The movie deals with a troubled daughter and her single mom, trying to find a better life for themselves in the town of Oakwood. The film weaves a story of mystery and suspense in a town riddled with issues.
