Meet the Studio K National Dance Day Instructor Team!
Laura Winchester – Music Video Choreography
Laura’s passion for dancing and cheerleading developed early when she began with tumbling lessons at the age of three. She cheered competitively with Step Ahead All-Stars, during which time she won national championships with her team, as well as individually. Growing up, Laura was also a part of dance studios where she trained and competed, and a production dance company. After high school, Laura attended Florida State University, where she was a member of the collegiate dance team for two years. She then attended Florida Gulf Coast University where she was a co-captain for the university’s Dance Team. There, Laura also received her BSN in Nursing. Upon graduation, Laura moved back home to Miami, where she became a member of the Miami Dolphins Cheerleading Squad from 2014-2016. As a first-year veteran, Laura was a co-captain for the team. During that time, Laura also coached two elementary school cheerleading teams–one that was even competitive. Now in Orlando, Laura is currently an instructor for Studio K.
