Local Dance Studio Chosen as an Official Location for National Dance Day

Orlando, FL July 12, 2018 Local dance studio, Studio K, was chosen as an official location for the city of Orlando in celebration of National Dance Day. Studio K will serve as the only adult South Campus location for this event.

National Dance Day was established in 2010 by Nigel Lythgoe, Executive Producer of the hit television series, So You Think You Can Dance, and co-founder of the Dizzy Feet Foundation. The Dizzy Feet Foundation aims to educate the public about dance and its many benefits, as well as to make dance accessible and inclusive to everyone. National Dance Day is an annual celebration dedicated to dance, that encourages Americans of all ages to incorporate dance into their lives.

Studio K has been invited to participate by the city of Orlando in National Dance Day since 2015. This year’s celebration will occur on Saturday, July 28, and locations across the country offer free dance classes for all ages to participate. Studio K is offering classes for adults only, ages 15 and up, in a variety of styles in both dance and fitness including: POUNDÒ, Tahitian Fusion, Broadway, Dance Team, Jazz, Heels, Tap, and Contemporary. The event will take place at Studio K’s International Drive location from 10 AM to 3 PM and requires registration to attend.
