Itzaida Rivera

Itzaida Rivera is originally from New York City where she followed her talent for dance and trained in the styles of Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Lyrical and Hip Hop. She successfully obtained roles in several off-Broadway productions such as Guys and Dolls, Li’l Abner, La Via Dolorosa, and Cats. Itzaida relocated to the Southwest area of Florida about eleven years ago and continued her training in Ballet, learning the use of props such as flags, streamers and tambourines for liturgical dance. Itzaida has also been very successful in teaching and laying a foundation for many new dance teams all over the state. She then decided to broaden her horizons by training in acro and later in cirque style. She currently lives in Orlando where she continues training in cirque, and has added Ballroom, Bellydance and Burlesque style to her regime. Itzaida currently performs at  local clubs predominantly in the Burlesque style, and has a deep passion for performing as well as teaching.
