With 18 years of experience in public relations, marketing and brand development, Kristin Weissman is a multi award-winning executive who currently serves as the Director of Marketing and Communications for Windermere Preparatory School. In addition, Weissman is the Owner and CEO of Studio K (www.studiokorlando.com), a lifestyle brand featuring dance and dance fitness for adults, full-service photography which includes the professional cosmetic line, Kristin Noelle Cosmetics, a national public relations firm, and the leading entertainment blog and magazine, The Backdrop.
Before leading these efforts, Kristin was the Director of Public Relations for Full Sail University, an entertainment media institution outside of Orlando, FL. Kristin worked with events such as the GRAMMY® and Academy Awards®, Sundance Film Festival, ESPN, high profile and celebrity projects in film, music, and video game development, and was responsible for bringing the nationally syndicated morning talk show, The Daily Buzz, to the Full Sail University campus.
Prior to this position, Kristin served as the Director of Communications for Give Kids The World, a non-profit resort for children with life-threatening illnesses where she lead efforts such as the Tournament of Roses Parade, and worked on major national projects and directed the PR strategies with partners including NASCAR, Wal-Mart, and Procter & Gamble.
However, before relocating to Orlando, Kristin originated her career in the casino industry working in both marketing and operations for Harrah’s Entertainment, as well as for the Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort where she later represented the casino and business activities of Donald Trump.
Kristin has also served as the National Public Relations Manager for the Miss America Organization in Atlantic City, NJ, helping to produce the nationally televised live broadcast, and represented both Miss America 2000 and 2001.
